The A&S Story
A&S Landscaping started the way most honest businesses do: with a truck, a trailer, a few clients who needed reliable service, and a commitment to not let them down.
A&S Landscaping started in Jackson and was built through referrals. Not through advertising. Not through door hangers or cold calls. Through work that was good enough that clients told their neighbors, and their neighbors called. That is still how most of our new business comes in today.
What started as a maintenance operation has grown into a full-service landscaping and hardscaping company. We still maintain the residential lawns that formed the foundation of the business, and we now take on large-scale project work, including paver patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, drainage systems, and full landscape installations, throughout New Jersey.
The business has grown, but the approach has not changed. The owner is involved in every estimate. The same crews return to the same properties. And when something is not right, we come back and fix it without making it a negotiation.
Meet the Owner
A&S Landscaping was founded right here in Lakewood Township and has been run hands-on since day one. The owner does the estimates, knows the clients, and knows the crews. That level of involvement is rare in a business that has grown to the size A&S has reached, and it is the main reason clients stay.
When you call A&S, you are not talking to a call center or a front-office scheduler who has never seen a paver. You are eventually talking to someone who has laid one.
We are based in Central New Jersey, which means we understand the properties, the soil conditions, the drainage challenges that come with this region's terrain, and what NJ winters do to hardscaping that was not installed correctly. That local knowledge matters on every job.
